Will You Win the Coveted Golden Ticket?

Whenever we host a What the Truck?! event the number one concern is always lines. But what if there was a way for you to skip the lines and enjoy your favourite food truck food unencumbered by lineups? A way for you to place your order right away, and eat before anyone else?

Enter the What the Truck?! Golden Ticket.

The Golden Ticket will be awarded to two lucky winners at the end of this season, for use at the last event of 2015 in Churchill Square. Each winner can bring a friend and enjoy a 20 minute head start on the event by being able to order from their favourite food trucks and skip the lines.

There are two ways to win one of the coveted Golden Tickets:

1. Fill out a feedback form at any of our remaining 2015 events to be entered into a draw. If you attend every one of the events we have left, you’ll get more entries! Feedback cards will be available at the Info Booth, which will be denoted on each event’s site map. Only one feedback card entry per person per event will be accepted.
2. Post a public picture of you and your friends enjoying a favourite Food Truck dish from a 2015 What the Truck?! event on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #wttgoldenticket. Entries can be made on Facebook by clicking the Golden Ticket link and uploading a photo. Photos must include two things: you, and a Food Truck dish purchased at the event. One entry will be given per unique photo up to a maximum of nine entries per event on Twitter/Instagram/Facebook, so be sure to get your photos before your food truck eats are all gone!

The contest will be open from our Brunch on the Boulevard Event (June 14th) until August 27th; the lucky winners will be announced on Friday, August 28th, two weeks before our last event at Churchill Square. Every feedback form and photo counts as one entry into the draw (to a maximum of 10 entries per event), so we want to see your favourite dishes, and hear your suggestions and comments about how we can do better!

Disclaimer: Golden tickets guarantee pre-entry to the event itself and have no monetary value with the trucks. By entering your photos into the contest, you are giving What the Truck?! permission to use your photo on a promotional basis. Entries will be collected from June 14th until August 27th, 2015.
